Chery's Russian division has announced the launch of a new premium electric vehicle brand, Exlantix, on the Russian market. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in the automotive industry in Russia, where ecological sustainability and innovative technologies take center stage, according to a statement from Chery Automobile Russia.
"The Board of Directors of Chery Automobile Russia has made the decision to introduce the new premium electric vehicle brand Exlantix to the Russian market. Remarkably, Russia will be the first export market," said the Russian office of Chery.

The director of the Exlantix brand in Russia is Gu Shuai. He described his main mission as not just "creating cars, but inspiring change" and also becoming a "symbol of innovation, style, and responsibility to future generations."
Exlantix is the result of years of experience in the Chinese automotive industry, as well as research and engineering focused on creating advanced, efficient, and electric vehicles that will improve the quality of life for Russians and make it even more environmentally friendly.
The first model of the new brand to hit the Russian market will be the Exlantix ES, a four-door electric coupe, with sales scheduled to begin in the summer of this year. It features an almost entirely transparent roof with auto-dimming function and "aggressive" front optics, complemented by two external ISD modules with dual matrix displays that allow the car to interact with the surrounding world.
Exlantix is confident that the performance and acceleration dynamics of the ES electric coupe will impress even the most demanding car enthusiasts. While the brand did not disclose the power and acceleration figures, it did mention the latest generation CATL 800-volt battery with a capacity of 82 kWh, which allows the car to travel up to 650 kilometers without recharging and charge from an Ultra Charge charging station from 30 to 80% in just 15 minutes.
"As part of the brand's development in Russia, the company plans to actively create charging infrastructure based on dealer facilities," Chery said.
In addition, the Exlantix ES will be equipped with a ventilated brake system with six-piston calipers and an active spoiler, as well as a wide range of intelligent assistants, with more than 30 available for the Russian market. These include an automatic parking system, Face ID, and adaptive cruise control, allowing the car to independently change lanes depending on the road conditions.
Finally, the Russian office of Chery highlighted the high level of comfort offered by the electric coupe, including a 23-speaker audio system, air aromatization, seat massage function, electrically operated doors with closers, internet services, an entertainment system, and much more.
Earlier, it became known that the Exlantix ES electric car had already debuted in China, where it is available in five configurations with prices ranging from 225,800 to 339,800 yuan, or approximately 2.75 to 4.13 million rubles based on the current exchange rate. It can be assumed that in Russia it will be priced at approximately twice that, or around 5-8 million rubles.
